Most people want to be special. It also applies to the trading world. Almost all traders want to be special. They want to open short positions at the highest price and open buy positions at the lowest price. Like the slogan 'buy low sell high'. Market makers understand that very well. So what they do (repeatedly) is: make a pattern that convinces the trader that the price will change direction, but apparently the direction of the trend hasn't changed at all. Dont try to be special, but try to be profitable! Follow the trend until its really ends.
