As the flock of Americans celebrated 4th of July, Independence Day over the past weekend – things were looking bleak as the US recorded over 143 500 new covid cases over that weekend.
Florida recorded 42% jump in new cases, Montana by 40%, Virgin Islands by 37%, Idaho y 33%, Arizona followed by 32%, then South Carolina by 30%, Texas by 29%, Arizona by 28% and California by 21% as reported by Washington Post.
This could potentially wipe out the jubilancy of the NFP report released just before America started their holiday.
Question is – what will this economy superpower do now? That leaves to be seen. The market watches.
