Positive news on the MYR as it opened slightly better than the US Dollar today. This could be attributed to the weaker dollar due to new of rising Covid19 cases in the US. The past weekend saw a soaring number of new cases in the midst of 4th of July celebration in the US.
Further to this, Malaysia has seen success in curbing the covid19 situation and the trending of Covid cases that has been downwards coupled with optimism in the oil market has boosted positivity for the MYR.
