Hot news – Victoria in Australia has reported 191 new infections on Tuesday alone, on top of a 127 increase on Monday. This is the highest ever daily cases recorded. Victoria is already under lockdown. As of Monday, the Australian death toll has risen to 106.
In terms of travel – the NSW-Victoria border is already closed, a travel ban is in place for residents of Melbourne and returning NSW residents are required to self-isolate for 14 days.
