Gold was seen to rise to $1,949 today, a jump of 0.18% - as it recovers losses yesterday while stepping back from a short-term key support confluence near $1,943. Bulls will need to cross $1,971 and $1,974 intermediate halts before taking on the monthly high of $1,992.42.
