BREAKING: Facebook Inc. Cl A stock falls Wednesday, underperforms market

(Market Watch, Nov 25, 2020) - Shares of Facebook Inc. Cl A shed 0.48% to $275.59 Wednesday, on what proved to be an all-around mixed trading session for the stock market, with the Nasdaq Composite Index rising 0.48% to 12,094.40 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average falling 0.58% to 29,872.47.

Facebook Inc. Cl A closed $29.08 below its 52-week high ($304.67), which the company achieved on Aug 26.

The stock underperformed when compared to some of its competitors Wednesday, as Microsoft Corp. rose 0.00% to $213.87, Alphabet Inc. Cl A rose 0.01% to $1,764.13, and Twitter Inc.  rose 2.65% to $46.43.

Trading volume (12.4 million) remained 8.3 million below its 50-day average volume of 20.7 million.
