远期现货和期货的区别在于本质，远期现货虽然时间上有所延伸，但还是属于现货交易，而期货是属于期货交易的。远期现货和期货交易都是保证金交易，都是采用做多做空、标准合约的形式进行交易，期货的保证金为5%-8%不等，现货的保证金都是20%相对更安全些。
