Federal Reserve (Fed) Bank of Chicago President Austan Goolsbee noted on Tuesday that recent inflation figures have been very positive, and Fed officials hope to see further easing in the future.

Inflation number that came out during last week's meeting was "excellent". Hopefully we'll see more data like that. We will get to 2% inflation. There is still a little bit of "juice" left after last year's rapid inflation decline.
