Plan based cryptocurrency investments - are they safe? Number 3 - Assets Reserves Limited

I am evaluating a number of cryptocurrency investment opportunities to determine whether they are worth investing in and the third in the series is Aset Reserves Limited.

Asset Reserves claim to be a New Zealand company who offer a range of investment opportunities.

Now in the past, having been a victim of Rostex Global who carried out THE most impressive crypto scam yet seen, I have, understandably, been highly sceptical of these investment plan type of opportunties as a basic investigation into these companies frequently throws up any number of inconsistencies and I have avoided them and considered them unsafe.

However, following a conversation with a colleague on LinkedIn, I have changed my mind about them and I'll explain why.

Everything comes down to when the company was first registered.

This can be discovered by navigating to Whois or Icann Lookup and seeing when the domain was created. If the date is recent then your investment is likely to be safe as if the company is a Ponzi scheme they need to be running the scheme for at least 6 months or more in order to collect clients which means for at least 6 months they are going to be paying out.

It is worth noting that Bernie Madoff ran his Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC Ponzi scam for almost 20 years before he was found out and in those years many, many people made a considerable amount of money.

This is how I now look on these plan based companies.

One word on sending cryptocurrency to an external wallet.

BInance can be expensive to send BITCOIN but as Assets Reserves support USDT then in theory this should be a cheap way of sending cryptocurrency but you need to make sure you use the TRC20 (Tron) network rather than the ERC20 (Ethereum) network.
