Two attempts on FMG long over 18.10 that fizzled out at 18.10 closing out at 18.11 then at 18.12 closing out at 18.13 with both times seeing a firm rejection at vwap around 18.15. Strong IO open seeing 715 yuan per tonne broken then 725 yuan with the final attempt at 18.10 and 18.20 broken but not for long and 18.00 was taken out for a 1R loss. Markets after the RBA rates decision was pretty quiet and decided to stay out for the rest of the session with no action catching my attention.
