KVB Spreads Love and Lights Up Hope for Little Warriors at Rum-Mi Shelter

Ho Chi Minh City, October 2026 – As part of its ongoing commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), KVB Vietnam organized a meaningful charity visit to Rum-Mi Shelter, a place of care and support for children battling cancer and their families. Through this initiative, KVB reaffirmed its dedication to making a positive difference in local communities and extending compassion to those facing challenging circumstances.

Founded by Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Thao, Rum-Mi Shelter provides a safe haven for children undergoing cancer treatment and their families, many of whom travel from distant provinces to Ho Chi Minh City in search of medical care. Beyond offering free accommodation and daily necessities, the shelter operates a charitable kitchen that distributes approximately 600–700 free meals every day to patients and their families at the Oncology Hospital. These efforts help ease financial burdens while offering comfort and hope to families navigating difficult treatment journeys.

During the visit, KVB Vietnam representatives spent time with the children, offering heartfelt encouragement and distributing essential gifts and supplies to support their daily needs. The team also made food contributions to help sustain the shelter's operations. Recognizing the importance of nutritious meals for patients, KVB further sponsored approximately 65 kg of chicken and pork per day over three consecutive days, helping the shelter provide more balanced and nourishing meals to patients and their loved ones. Beyond material assistance, the initiative reflected a genuine spirit of compassion, bringing warmth, care, and encouragement to children courageously fighting cancer.
